Message from the Principal

Welcome to Northside Middle School! My name is Evan Burton and I am fortunate to be the principal at Northside. We believe every student deserves to be known, challenged, and supported as they grow. Northside is a school where students feel connected, discover their strengths, and develop the confidence to take on new opportunities. 

At NMS, learning is engaging, relationships matter, and every student is encouraged to discover their strengths and passions. Whether it's in the classroom, on the stage, on the field, or through one of our many clubs and activities, there are countless opportunities for students to get involved, build confidence, and find what drives them. Our staff is one of our greatest strengths. They are committed to knowing our students, providing academic rigor, and offering the support and encouragement students need to thrive throughout middle school. 

Middle school is more than a stepping stone. It's a time to grow, explore new interests, develop leadership skills, and create lasting connections. We're proud to offer a supportive community with high expectations and standards where every Spartan is challenged to learn, encouraged to lead, and inspired to become the best version of themselves.
